Prepping this wedding for the blog brought back reminders of my love for Oklahoma. That love was hidden under unbearable hot summers, wind that would blow you over, and flat, brown fields that would go on for miles. But maybe it was all this and more that I did love. I don’t think it helped that when I was working on images of the bride in her cowboy boots (my ideal bride) I was also listening to Tim McGraw! Oklahoma fills my heart and soul. My love for country, bon fires, red dirt roads, and riding out in the open pasture!
I left a little piece of me, there, in Oklahoma.
Maybe one day I will be back…
It wouldn’t be so bad. It kind of grew on me!
If I could work with beautiful couples like Valerie and Joey I would be in heaven! Give me a pretty bride in dirty brown boots and call it good. Seriously Oklahoma is a beautiful place! It is a little bittersweet to post this since it was my last wedding in Oklahoma, during my last day there. I literally packed up and moved the very next day! It will have a special place in my heart.
