Rachel + Trevor | Candy Shoppe Engagement Photography
What can I say about this couple. Well for starters I never would have thought that I would be photographing their engagement pictures. Yeah, way back when I was in preschool. This four-eyed girl was best friends with this little tow head down the street. They grew up learning to ride bikes and drive cars, telling stories about their first kisses and playing MASH while watching Child’s Play marathons at night. I would say there is a little history there. And we both knew that someday we would each be getting married and the other one would be there right by our side.
So let’s start back a year ago on December 4, 2010. I was living in Oklahoma and Rachel was living in Wisconsin. I just happened to be photographing a wedding in Appleton, WI that weekend which is on the other side of the state from where Rachel lives. Well, Rachel just happened to be in Green Bay that weekend and that very night she got ENGAGED! It literally brings me to tears just as it did that same night. How in the world did I happen to be less than 40 miles away from my best friend on the night she got engaged when I don’t even live in the same state anymore. It was perfect timing. After the wedding I photographed I went straight up to Green Bay (and saw Lambeau Field for the first time) to celebrate with the newly engaged couple!
Fast forward to 2011, I got to photograph their engagement pictures. I wouldn’t have had it any other way! This couple is so right for each other. Trevor makes Rachel laugh more than anyone I have ever met. They are comfortable around each other and would rather act like nerds than anything else. Rachel I am so happy that you found your someone! I know Trevor is going to make you happy for the rest of your life.
And if you can’t get enough of these two, go check out Leah Maria Photography, where she recently posted their wedding photographs. She told the story of their day perfectly and I am so elated that I was able to not only be there, but be by Rachel’s side as her MOH! Just how we knew it would be!
super cute!
