My last scheduled wedding went out with a bang!!! I shot this wedding with Krista of Never Miss a Moment in Rochester, MN. We drove down there the night before for a great dinner and to celebrate an awesome year! The next day was COLD!! It even looked cloudy when we got up to get ready, but we were surprised! We ended up with bright sunny blue skies but with lots of very cold wind. Lucky for us we had a great bride and groom that were up for anything and a wedding party that helped get us some great shots!! It was really a blast and a great way to end the wedding season! The ceremony was held at Good Shepherd Church in Rochester, MN and the reception was at the Mayo Civic Center. Beware…we are going out with a bang and this post is huge!
I am also heading out to Santa Rosa Beach, FL on Monday for the Making Things Happen intensive with miss Lara Casey! Then I am flying home to Minneapolis, MN for a few days of holiday festivities with family. Then back to Oklahoma for a couple days and then driving to Colorado for some skiing/snowboarding time. We are scheduled for ASBC training in Montgomery, Al starting January 11, 2010 for SIX weeks! That is going to be a little bit unknown as far as what I will be doing there and how much I can be involved in my business. So a heads up to everyone, Amy Rae Photography will be on a small break until the end of February!
Katy had a beautiful dress that we got to take outside. Good thing it didn’t blow away!
Katy and Brandon decided to do a first look which allowed us to have enough time for pictures before the ceremony!
Get ready for some awesome fall colors and sunny pictures!! It was COLD! But it doesn’t look like it!
Katy you are gorgeous!
Look at that tree blowing in the wind! What troopers!
BLUE sky!!
We had an awesome wedding party!
Katy’s dad had a VW van and he let us use it for pictures! How cool!
My most favorite picture!!
We stopped at a bar before the reception. It has a little pond out back which served as a great backdrop!
I think they were going for great fall decor…my husband would say go Gophers!! hehe!
Check that ring shot out! I think it is my favorite yet! It looks like a heart and I love the orange cala!
What a great time! Thanks Katy and Brandon!
