Shortly after Kate and Simon were engaged Kate spent time in New York at Parson’s School for Design and abroad in Europe for her design study. Many of the details were inspired by their travel, childhood, and love of each other and family. The wedding was a reflection of both the couples unique taste in design and love of the city and Minnesota. The ceremony took place at the Nazareth Chapel and the reception was held at the beautiful Calhoun Beach Club on lake Calhoun. The venue brought together their love for the Minnesota lakes with a big-city feel.
Throughout the last year Kate and Simon have relied on God to guide their path as Simon served with Campus Crusade and Kate finished her last year in school. God used Simon to bring a light into many young men. The couple are finding God’s will for them in California where they have recently moved to start their new lives together.
