Do you wash your face? If so then is for you!!
Now that I have your attention I’m curious if you are aware that the average woman puts 515 synthetic chemicals on her body every day!
What’s worse is that 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies! Our skin is our largest organ and many don’t realize the harm in what we expose our skin to.
Five years ago I was one of those people! And I would never have known without someone sharing with me. So now it’s my turn to share! Making smart changes to your daily beauty routine is one area that can make a huge difference in your product line up overall. You have to start somewhere and this is one area you can make an easy switch. I’m going to share with you come of my favorite beauty products and when/how I use each in my skincare routine
Art Gentle Cleanser – This is the perfect cleanser for all skin types and comes in a foaming pump for easy cleansing. It’s the first step in the ART skincare system.
ART Refreshing Toner – I always love a good toner after cleansing my face. This toner will balance your skin’s PH while leaving your skin feeling fresh and a little goes a long way.
ART Light Moisturizer – The final step in the ART skincare system is this moisturizer that I prefer to use for my daytime face lotion. It’s light but is the perfect formula to soften my skin without it feeling oily.
ART Intensive Moisturizer – This moisturizer is so luxurious! It’s perfect for skin that needs more moisture and for extra hydration overnight.
ART Renewal Serum – This stuff smells so good I want to eat it up! This is the perfect serum to follow up after your toner and before your final moisturizer. It has premium ingredients such as orchid flower extract, angelica root, and Frankincense to tighten and tone your skin.
ART Creme Masque – I love using this a couple times a week especially after exfoliating to help nourish my new layer of skin. I love that is uses an exclusive blend of hyaluronic acid and pure essential oils. Other spa-quality botanicals are added to help tighten and restore the look of youthfulness to the skin. Suitable for all skin types.
Orange Blossom Facial Wash – I love this soap-free facial wash, as it’s gentle for my skin and doesn’t strip my natural oils. It’s infused with Lavender essential oil and other safe ingredients to cleanse my skin without harmful chemicals. To save money and stretch the life I add the face wash to a foaming hand pump with distilled water. I love the foam for washing my face and it makes my bottle last at least 6 months or more!
Charcoal Bar Soap – Activated charcoal is used in cleansing products to pull out dirt and impurities! I’ve used a few different charcoal products from other companies but this charcoal bar soap comes out on top! I primarily use it for my face but it can also be used for your body (I may have used it for a quick pit refresh instead of taking a whole shower). In my daily routine, I will use the facial wash and then follow up with the charcoal bar for an extra impurities punch! And you all know I’m here to save you money so when you get your bar warm it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and then cut into cubes. Keep a cube on your sink, one in the shower, or in your gym bag. This will make the soap last so much longer!
Orange Blossom Moisturizer – This is a great moisturizer for oily or acne-prone skin. I love it since it balances my skin out when I’m having breakouts and gives me a break from my heavier moisturizer when my face doesn’t quite need as much.
Sandalwood Moisture Cream – This is actually my regular moisturizer that I keep in my rotation. I love how soothing this cream is on my skin and it’s not too heavy but not to light. A little goes a long way and I feel I get the most bang for my buck with this product. My favorite is to add a drop of Frankincense to my palm and mix the cream with it then pat on my face. It’s the perfect bedtime ritual.
Satin Facial Scrub – I keep this handy in my shower for easy exfoliation 2-3 times a week. This formula gently exfoliates your skin and removes dead skin cells leaving more even-looking skin.
Mirah Luminous Cleansing Oil – If you’ve never tried oil cleansing then you are missing out!! It’s the most luxurious feeling when cleaning your skin! If I have a lot of makeup on I’ll reach for this cleansing oil to get the job started. I will apply the oil without water and watch the makeup just wipe off (the raccoon eyes really make an appearance it’s a little scary). After massaging the oil in for about a minute I wipe off with a warm rag. My skin feels soft and clean! I’ll sometimes follow up with the charcoal bar and my regular moisturizing routine but if I’m traveling for a short trip this cleansing oil is all I’ll bring.
Sheerlumé – Known as spanx for your face this cream can be used during your serum step in your face routine and will help tighten and tone your skin! The line up of essential oils in this cream is amazing and includes Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Davana, Sacred Frankincense, and Jasmine (just to name a few).
Wolfberry Eye Cream – This cream is so soothing and I love applying it both morning and night (using a little extra before bed). A little goes a long way and the cream includes anti-aging and skin-conditioning properties of wolfberry seed oil.
Maximum Strength Acne Treatment – I am so glad that I purchased this product because I’m that 30-something-year-old who still has breakouts! When the need arises I appreciate having this little tube handy! Naturally derived, maximum-strength salicylic acid from Wintergreen helps clear acne blemishes, pimples, and blackheads and Tea Tree essential oil helps cleanse your skin, while Manuka oil reduces the appearance of blemishes. Praise the Lord!
DIY Face Serum – If I need to get some goodness on my skin in a hurry I pull out my face serum roller. It’s easy to pack with me on trips and provides all the great benefits of my essential oils. I won’t get into each oil specifically but all are so great for the skin by either reducing blemishes, brightening, or soothing. This recipe can also be made in a dropper bottle for easier travel.

30 drops Elemi
10 drops each Lavender, Patchouli, Melrose, Geranium
