Make ahead ice cubes:
- Fresh Ginger
- Lemons (quartered)
- Filtered Water

Blend everything together, strain, then freeze in a small ice cube tray. Pop out one cube, add raw honey, and pinch of seasalt, and warm water. Enjoy! 🍋

I remember the exact moment I realized I couldn’t keep going the way I was. I was exhausted—weary exhaustion that no amount of coffee or extra sleep could fix. My body felt off, my moods were all over the place, and I felt like a stranger in my own skin.

At the time, I told myself it was normal. I was a mom, I had a lot on my plate, and being tired just came with the territory. But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

When I started looking for answers, I was met with shrugs, prescriptions, and surface-level solutions that never actually addressed the root of what was happening in my body. I was told to just “wait it out” or that “everything looked fine.” But everything didn’t feel fine.

That’s when I realized—if I wanted different results, I had to start asking different questions. I had to be the one to advocate for my health.

Looking back now, I’m so grateful for that moment because it led me to where I am today. It was hard. It was frustrating. But it gave me the push I needed to take my health into my own hands, and now I get to help other women do the same.

I remember the first time I connected the dots between gut health and hormones—it completely changed the way I look at women’s health. So many women come to me struggling with estrogen dominance symptoms—heavy periods, intense cramping, mood swings, acne—searching for answers. And one marker I always check on the GI-MAP is beta-glucuronidase.

This enzyme plays a key role in estrogen detox. When it’s elevated, estrogen that should be eliminated can get reabsorbed into the body instead, keeping you stuck in a cycle of imbalance. But when we see this on a GI-MAP, it gives us clarity—we know exactly where to focus. There are effective ways to support estrogen clearance while also bringing the gut back into balance.
