I met Sara and Reno through my sister who recommended myself. We had not met until the final consult before the wedding. I think we were a great match and I was very excited for their wedding. I arrived to the location on a hot, sunny, muggy, misquote biting September Minnesota day! It was probably one of the warmest and muggiest that I remember all summer. They were married outside on the patio of the beautiful Elm Creek Park Reserve chalet! I was very excited to photograph there because of the great outdoor location. The inside of the chalet has great vaulted wood ceilings, fireplace, and large windows to look out over the hill while the sun sets. It is all so cozy. Sara and Reno dressed things up with great fall colors with purple accents. What a great evening.
Sara and Reno decided to see each other before the ceremony which allowed us to get great shots before the guests arrived.
This location was just off from the parking lot and bike paths. Such beautiful areas to use in the park reserve.
I’m not really very funny!
Gorgeous wedding party!
Work it girls!
The guys look good too!
What a great job on all the fall decor! It fits the location perfectly!
Cute little rubber duckies!!
They had a magician to entertain guests during the cocktail hour who was the DJ as well. He really got the crowd onto the dance floor!
I know … you know I was going to do it!
Slipped away for some quick sunset shots. I knew before going to the wedding I had to get them out on the bridge at sunset!! It was a perfect location. If you have time to slip away for 5 minutes I recommend going out for these quick shots!
